Recreation Center
The Centre of Elgin is the City's foremost recreational facility providing residents with nearly 185,000 sq-ft of leisure space. Features include a 9,600 sq. ft. fitness center, zero depth entry/leisure pool, competition lap/diving pool, warm water therapy pool, steam room (100-110°F), whirlpool (102-105°F), climbing wall, three full-sized basketball courts, two racquetball courts, preschool wing, meeting rooms, and Heritage Ballroom. Serving over 1,000,000 guests annually with programs for all ages including group fitness, aquatics, youth programs, and more. Policies require swimsuits in steam room and whirlpool, max 10 minutes stay.
